post of day 22, Can you guess what I have been doing?

Well unless you guessed canning then sorry to say you were wrong.

Today we have caned 18 pints of strawberry jam, and yesterday we canned a lot of spaghetti sauce.

I know that this was kind of random but I could not think of anything else to put up.

Who does not like Sonic?

Well personally it is my favorite place to stop at and get a drink(especially during happy hour). I think my favorite drink is the strawberry-limeade chiller.

What's yours?

lemon balm, pic of the day #14

This is lemon balm. Lemon balm can be used for: air refresher, sachets, and tea. If you have constant stomach aces, then drink lemon balm tea around once a day and that should help.

PS: I found out about the tea because I used to have to take it and it HELPED!!!!

pie recipe, pic of the day #7

Me and my sister made 2 HUGE chocolate pudding pies. Here is the recipe for the pudding:

4 cups milk
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
2 TBSP butter
Place ingredients in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, bring to boil, while stirring.

1 cup milk
7 TBSP cornstarch

In a separate bowl, mix milk with cornstarch. Set aside.

12 egg yolks
2 tsp vanilla

Beat egg yolks with a fork, add in vanilla. Slowly pour mixture into bowl with milk and cornstarch.

After saucepan ingredients are brought to a boil, add in egg mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, about 2 minutes or until mixture is thickened. Pour into bowl to cool, place plastic wrap directly onto mixture and set in fridge to cool at least 4 hours.

What we did to make pies:

We made the pudding and put it in graham cracker crusts and let sit for around ten minutes. While it sat we used the egg whites and made a HUGE batch of meringue. After the meringue was finished we heaped it on the pies and baked them for around 5-7 minutes. After it was baked we put it in the fridge until it was set.

ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
